How to remove border lines behind header

**This tutorial works for the minima template**

Those lines around or behind your banner can be really annoying!  It is super easy to remove those lines.  Click on ‘edit html’ on your layout page.  Find this part of the code.  In the two separate parts change the 1 px you see next to “border:” to 0px.  Preview and save it:)

#header-wrapper {

width:860px;

margin:0 auto 10px;

border:0px solid $bordercolor;

}
#header-inner {

background-position: center;

margin-left: auto;

margin-right: auto;

}
#header {

margin: 5px;

border: 0px solid $bordercolor;

text-align: center;

    • Hi Rachel, sorry this tutorial is just for the minima template. We should have noted that! What template are you using now…the picture window? –Becky

    • Hello Mannie, I’m not familiar with the ‘awesome inc.’ template you are using on your blog. I know that template comes with those white borders….you could try using the simple template and see if you like that look better…—-Becky
